Spotunity Co., Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter referred to as Spotunity), which develops sports specialized crowdfunding to support teams, organizations, and athletes, is Vegalta Sendai Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan), which operates J2 club Vegalta Sendai. In the 2024 season, Vegalta Sendai, under the direction of Manager Moriyama, will return to the club’s roots and once again promote community-based development and youth development, fighting for promotion to J1.
However, promotion to J1 is not the only goal for Vegalta Sendai. Our goal is to remain strong even after being promoted to J1, and to become a club that is always needed, loved, and supported by the people of Miyagi and Sendai, and we believe this is the ideal state of Vegalta Sendai.
As we approach the 30th anniversary of Vegalta Sendai, we need to acquire new resources and ensure growth in order to make Vegalta Sendai strong, big, and robust. From the perspective of equipment and things, there is the preparation of a practice environment.
The natural grass field currently in use is winter grass, which is expected to grow stably even in Japan’s warming climate, and we wanted to secure a field with summer grass, which is the mainstream throughout the country, and create a training environment.
Through this partnership with Tohoku Gakuin University, we have created a natural grass field centered on summer grass on campus. Furthermore, by constructing the aging clubhouse on the same campus, we will be able to greatly improve the training environment for the top teams, which is expected to improve the competitiveness of the players.

The main purpose of this second event is to raise funds for the construction of a clubhouse adjacent to the natural grass field. Aiming to create a clubhouse that is easy to use and can be used permanently, we also conduct interviews with players and club staff, with the aim of updating and improving functionality with an emphasis on maximizing player performance. Specifically, we will update equipment for physical condition management, such as expanding the training room, enriching the relaxation room, and automating the temperature control of the cold bath.
