The next special exhibition at Ishinomori Mangakan will be “You Look Delicious”! ! (October 26, 2024 – January 13, 2025) [Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture]
*The next Ishinomori Mangakan special exhibition will feature the long-selling works by Tatsuya Miyanishi, whose series has sold a cumulative total of 25 million copies worldwide. ” exhibition will be held. *
The picture book “You Look Delicious” (Tyrannosaurus Series) is a long-selling work by Tatsuya Miyanishi that depicts various forms of “love” such as “love between parent and child” and “friendship.” The series spans 16 books and celebrated its 20th anniversary last year since its release in 2003. The gentle feelings that emerge from the seemingly violent Tyrannosaurus rex move a wide range of generations, from children to adults, and are loved not only in Japan but also across borders and all over the world. This exhibition introduces the entire world of dinosaurs. Please enjoy diving into the world of picture books.
