“AIR RACE
“X” is an air event that utilizes the latest technology, in which eight pilots with the world’s best flight skills compete remotely in terms of accuracy and time in a small race-specific aircraft at a maximum speed of 400km/h and a maximum gravity acceleration of 12G. motor sports. Pilots actually fly on the same race track set at bases scattered around the world, and compete for the best time by compiling precise flight data measured by sensors installed on the aircraft, with an error of 3 cm.
The 2024 series (3 races in total) consists of two types of races: the “Remote Round” where you can watch XR online and the “Digital Round” where you can watch XR in the city.
1) and September (Race 2), the final round of the 2024 series (Race 3) “Digital Round” public viewing will be held in Shibuya, Tokyo on Saturday, October 19th.
This is a historic season in which not only will we determine the winner of each race, but the pilot who earns the most points throughout the season will be crowned the series champion. The current series ranking is 1st place is Japan’s Yoshihide Muroya (59 points), 2nd place is Australia’s Matt Hall (48 points), and 3rd place is South Africa’s Patrick Davidson (35 points). “AIR RACE
A public viewing event for the final round of the 2024 series “Digital Round” will be held at “Shibuya Miyashita Park” in collaboration with the Shibuya Music Festival on Saturday, October 19th.
“AIR RACE
Admission to and viewing the Shibuya Digital Round public viewing event is free. Using the XR technology (AR/VR/MR) of the spatial computing platform “STYLY,” the aircraft will appear in the streets of Shibuya, allowing spectators to experience the heated race up close through their smartphones.
Furthermore, this time, we will introduce Japanese pilot Yoshihide Muroya and AIR RACE
Emma McDonald, the first female pilot of the X, will be visiting Japan from Australia to participate in the viewing event at Miyashita Park. At Miyashita Park, after the public viewing, there will be an awards ceremony for the “Shibuya Digital Round” and “AIR RACE”.
The first champion birth ceremony in the “X” series was held. Afterwards, there will be a talk stage by Yoshihide Muroya and Emma McDonald. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see a real pilot up close!

AIR RACE X How to watch
This year’s race will be held on the spatial computing platform “STYLY”. Spectators will be able to enjoy watching racing machines race through the streets of Shibuya in a special viewing venue located in Shibuya. Spectators can watch the race on large-screen monitors at each venue, or they can actually watch the race in the streets of Shibuya by holding an iPad or smartphone with the STYLY application installed over a building. The race will also be streamed online to the entire world, and just like in previous air races, you can enjoy the excitement of the race through live video footage.
