“Mirai no Takarabako 2024 in Osaka”, Japan’s largest work experience event that expands children’s dreams – visitor registration starts on September 20th! –
*From industries that everyone knows about to industries that are usually not well-known to the general public because they are services provided by companies. Over 60 contents mainly in Kansai! *
The Mirai no Takarabako Executive Committee (supervisor: Emi Okuda, hereinafter referred to as this committee) will be holding an event at Intex Osaka (Suminoe Ward, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture) for two days, November 9th (Saturday) and November 10th (Sunday), 2024. At Nanko Kita 1-5-102 (Venue hereafter), we will be holding a community-based work experience event “Mirai Takarabako in Osaka 2024” for children aged 4 to 15 (mainly elementary school students). Registration for visitors will begin on Friday, September 20, 2024!

What is “Mirai no Takarabako”?
Through community-based children’s work experiences, we foster children’s dreams and hopes while creating connections between communities and companies that transcend generations, industries, industries, and organizations.*
This is a project that aims to create a well-being society through regional co-creation*.

For the children who will create the future – “Mirai Takarabako 2024” offers a variety of work experiences
This event provides an opportunity for children to connect with the local community by experiencing various occupations and fostering their dreams and hopes while interacting with local adults.

Depending on the work experience event*

In addition, this project allows children in the same industry to exhibit* in order to help many of the children learn about the industry and type of industry.

One of the features of our project is that we are not only looking for jobs that appear in children’s job rankings that they would like to have in the future, but also jobs that are widely recognized by children.
We also have many exhibitors from small and medium-sized businesses with close ties to the community, such as craftsmen at local small factories and store owners in shopping districts with strong ties to the community*.

Experience areas provided by schools and classrooms to fully support children’s “want to know” and “want to try” activities. You can experience the charm of new learning.
From “connections” to solving social issues, also a place for interaction between university students and companies
Last year in 2023, more than 130 university student volunteers participated on the day of the event, and this year, more than 70 students have been participating from the planning stage*.
The university student members are volunteers from all over Kansai. *Not only members who want to contribute to the future of children through the event, but also students who participate for the purpose of meeting a wide variety of industries and industries*
There are also quite a few.

At the recent meet-and-greet between companies and students held on May 25th, the venue was filled with excitement as both companies and students sought interaction.
