Techmatrix Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Takaharu Yai, hereinafter referred to as “Techmatrix”) and MS&AD Interrisk Research Institute, Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Masashi Ippongi, hereinafter referred to as “MS&AD”) InterRisk Research Institute) has begun a business partnership in the incident response business.
Through this business alliance, we aim to bring together the expertise and technology of both companies and provide support services ranging from more advanced incident response services to permanent
countermeasures in the event of a cyber incident.
■Background
In today’s digital environment, cyber-attacks are becoming
increasingly sophisticated, making it increasingly important to respond to them.
As a risk-related service company within the MS&AD Insurance Group, MS&AD InterRisk Research Institute plays the “core role in risk management using digital data” and promotes initiatives to solve social issues and improve corporate value.
From July 1, 2024, we will begin providing “Cyber Incident Guard”, a service that provides support for companies to respond to cyberattacks (incident response). We contribute to the continuity and development of your business.
On the other hand, since March 2021, Techmatrix has been providing digital forensics and advisory services using the knowledge of cybersecurity experts who belong to the security monitoring center and security research institute operated by Techmatrix.
Through this collaboration between the two companies, we are confident that we will be able to support prompt and effective response to security incidents, including investigation, containment, recovery, and permanent measures to prevent recurrence, thereby ensuring maximum safety for our customers. I aim for it.

In recent years, damage from cyber attacks, especially ransomware attacks, has been occurring frequently, and there have been cases where business continuity has been affected. In the event of a cyber attack, a quick initial response is important not only for large companies but also for small and medium-sized enterprises. Reporting to public institutions such as the Information Protection Commission is also required.
Our company plays the role of the commander of the CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team), an in-house organization that responds to cyber incidents, and works together with TechMatrix to clarify the damage situation while gathering information and advising on action plans. We will contribute to early business recovery and minimization of damage from cyber accidents.
