Kobe Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers (Rokko Island, Higashinada Ward, Kobe City) is collaborating with the special exhibition “Finnish Lifestyle” (September 14th – November 10th, 2024) held at the Kobe Fashion Museum. Our pastry chef will prepare traditional sweets served in a high tea style.
Enjoy Scandinavian-style tableware, placemats, and sweets. Additionally, during the period, the directly managed food select shop “Sheraton Marche” will sell the Scandinavian cake “Musta Halkka Valkoskla Kak (black currant and white chocolate cake)” for a limited time.
Finnish sweets have a unique flavor and rustic charm. Many of these sweets are made with fruits such as berries and apples grown in the rich natural blessings of Northern Europe, and are characterized by their spicy flavors. One of its attractions is the food culture closely tied to seasons and events such as Easter, Midsummer Festival, and Christmas. Enjoy the Scandinavian tea time “Fika” while reflecting on the cozy Finnish lifestyle.
