Reducing the burden on families raising children – Reviewing the selection index for new admissions to make it easier for siblings to enroll in the same kindergarten
Toyonaka City will make it easier for siblings to enroll in the same nursery school by reviewing the admission selection index when applying for new nursery schools, etc., in order to reduce the burden on families raising children such as dropping off and picking up their children.
This initiative is part of the initiative announced in September last year to be “No. 1 in the ease of raising children,” and aims to reduce the burden on families with children who are pressed for time every day, and make it easier for siblings to enroll in the same nursery school. We will develop a support system that allows families raising children to live with peace of mind.
Regarding transfer applications, we have already implemented a selection process that gives priority to children enrolled in siblings, but in conjunction with this review, we will further promote enrollment of siblings in the same nursery school.

“Siblings in the same nursery school” will be added to the household addition requirements for admission selection index, making it easier for children to enroll in a nursery school where their siblings are enrolled. In addition, for multiple fetuses, we will add more than the current amount.

*If both siblings are currently enrolled at a licensed childcare facility (separate nursery school) in Toyonaka City, the child will be required to apply for a transfer if they wish to do so.The application must be made by the deadline corresponding to the month in which the child wishes to transfer.
