Nippon Enterprise Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Koichi Sugiyama) will be launching a smartphone service from NTT DoCoMo, Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Yoshiaki Maeda) starting Tuesday, September 17th. The service “Sugotoku Contents (R)” offers AI English conversation service “Speak”.

“Speak Lab
“for Sugotoku” is an AI English conversation service developed jointly with Alta Vista Rise Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Eiji Ozawa). Since your partner is AI, you can learn English conversation while having fun 24 hours a day, 365 days a year without fear of making mistakes.
There are four learning formats: “Basic Lessons” to learn grammar from scratch, “Pronunciation Practice” to learn correct
pronunciation, “Role Play” for each situation, and “Free Talk” to have free conversation. AI characters vary in age and gender, as well as nationality and occupation, so by selecting the character that suits your wishes, you can create accents that correspond to various countries such as American English, British English, Australian English, etc., and relate to various occupations.
