Outlook from Tower and partner IDC suggests that mobile games will maintain around 50% of the $165 billion in total global consumer gaming spending in 2024. In comparison, console game revenues are expected to account for 25%, PC/Mac revenues to account for 24%, and handheld gaming consoles to account for approximately 1%. 2023 has been a tough year when it comes to mobile gaming spending, but there are signs that the decline may have bottomed out. Driven by recent hits and new releases, the year-on-year growth rate is expected to reach 6% in 2024, so it is highly likely that we have entered a new growth period.
