We will be holding a workshop called “How to Make a Photo Album” where you can learn “how to take photos” and “how to weave photos” with Mr. Yusuke Abe as the instructor.

This workshop is for editing production
Planned to commemorate the opening of IEGNIM, a select shop that sells folk arts and crafts operated by Roaster Co., Ltd.
In March 2025, we plan to publish a photo book of Izushi Kiln, “SHUSSAI” (supervised by IEGNIM), taken by Yusuke Abe.
The photo book was compiled the day after Mr. Abe took the photos of the scenery around Izashigama based on his inspiration on the spot. This is a book where you can feel Mr. Abe’s point of view and breathing in “taking photos” and “weaving photos” according to his senses.

Morning session: How to take photos
In the morning session, we will walk around the city with Mr. Abe, take photos, and discuss with all participants based on the photos we have taken, teaching us [perspectives when taking photos] and [how to see the city]. . This course is recommended for those who are worried about “I don’t know what to shoot” or “I want to take good pictures, but I can’t get the shots I want.”
*Event will be held rain or shine (cancelled in case of typhoon, etc.). *Please bring your digital camera on the day.
Print out the photos you prepare in advance on paper, and knit in an analog manner using your hands.
Afternoon session: How to knit photos
In this course, which is more intermediate to advanced than the morning session, participants use photos prepared in advance and use their hands to lay out the layout. Through Mr. Abe’s review of the layout, people who say, “I take photos, but have only posted them on SNS,” and “I want to make a photo book,” can learn about the fun of taking photos one step further. It becomes.

Born in Tokyo in 1989. Photographer. Completed the Faculty of Business Administration, Aoyama Gakuin University.
Traveled throughout Asia and Europe while attending university. During my studies, I relied on the information I gained from my travels to support areas affected by the Nepal earthquake (2015), the issue of women’s forced labor “surrounded by rye fields,” and the universal life of people living in remote areas of Pakistan.
