Japan Package Design Awards 2025 [Breaking News] The grand prize winning work is Pola Cosmology
*Second screening results [Breaking news]: Announcement of 35 winning works* *
The Japan Package Design Association, a public interest incorporated association (chairman: Yoji Shindo), held the second round of the Japan Package Design Award 2025 on Tuesday, August 27th of this year, with 17 secondary judges, and 35 items were selected. The winning works were selected and announced on the website on Wednesday, September 18th. *
*The grand prize went to Paula Cosmology. *
The Japan Package Design Award 2025 received a total of 1000 entries. In the first round, 65 primary judges (*1) selected 417 works in 10 categories, and in the second round,
A total of 35 prize-winning works (*3) were selected through discussion by 17 secondary judges, including 11 association member judges, one previous grand prize winner, and five external special judges (*2). It has been decided.

What is JAPAN PACKAGE DESIGN AWARDS?
Public interest incorporated association
This is a competition sponsored by the Japan Package Design
Association (JPDA) that solicits and selects works from a wide range of public participants. Professionals in the packaging design field gather to compete on the design and creativity of their works. Held every two years since 1985, the event aims to raise the social status of package design and has created a place to applaud
outstanding work.This year marks the 21st time.
A major feature of the program is that it evaluates products from the perspective of a package designer, placing emphasis not only on packaging materials such as production, distribution, and the environment, but also on design value and product manufacturing. Approximately 1,000 works will be carefully judged by member judges and an external special judge, and the grand prize, gold, silver, and bronze prizes in each category, as well as the special jury award will be selected.
Winning and selected works will be included in publications, and winning works will be exhibited at a traveling exhibition (scheduled to be held in Tokyo and other locations). In addition, Grand Prize and Gold Prize winning works will be stored in our archives.
