* [Lecture summary] *
There are high expectations for offshore wind power generation in order to achieve carbon neutrality in 2050, and the current
installation target of 1 GW per year by 2030 and 30-45 GW by 2040 is not limited, but renewable energy sea areas are being developed with the aim of expanding into the EEZ. A bill to revise the usage law has also been approved by the Cabinet, and further expansion is currently being discussed, including the 7th Basic Energy Plan and setting targets for the introduction of floating structures. Public
recruitment in general sea areas has been carried out up to Round 3, but issues with the public recruitment procedure are becoming clear. In this seminar, a lecturer who has been in charge of many preceding offshore wind power generation projects will be involved in this field for the first time, and will discuss points to keep in mind regarding the legal system related to offshore wind power generation, such as public recruitment, and contract practices related to development and financing.
