Sai-no-Kuni Saitama Arts Theater celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. On October 12th (Saturday) and 13th (Sunday), we will express our gratitude to you.*
“Sainokuni Saitama Arts Theater 30th Anniversary Thanksgiving Open Theater! Born on a Planet of Dance 2024” * will be held.

The theme of the Sai-no-Kuni Saitama Arts Theater Open Theater, which was proposed by Ryohei Kondo and will be held every year from 2021 (it will not be held in 2023 due to the theater being closed for renovations), is dance. Produced by choreographer and dancer Kondo, there are many events where you can experience and experience a variety of dances. This planet we live on is a “dance planet”. There are many different types of dance both on stage and in the streets. This year, which marks the 30th anniversary of the theater’s opening, we will be focusing on the theme of Artistic Director Kondo’s -Crossing-.
More and more participatory events focusing on cross-relationships with the local community *
. Along the way from the station to the theater, a tie-up project with the local Chuo Ward of Saitama City and JR Yonohonmachi Station has been realized. Artistic director Kondo’s dream tuk-tuk will appear again this year, along with performances by food trucks, street performers, and chindon shops.
