Notice of change of representative director of NAXA Corporation *NAXA Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter “NAXA”), which brings innovation to the television and entertainment industry, will be established as of October 1, 2024.
We would like to inform you that Shoya will be appointed as the new representative director and president. *

NAXA will enter its fourth term in October 2024. In the startup industry, it is said that more than half of companies go out of business or go bankrupt within three years of their establishment, but the reason NAXA has been able to continue to grow is all thanks to the support from our many customers. Thanks to you.
The television and entertainment industry is currently undergoing a period of major change. In order to aim for further growth, NAXA has recently reformed its management structure and replaced its
representative director.
Urabe, the founder and former CEO, has always had a strong desire to contribute to the development of not only the television and entertainment industry, but the startup industry as a whole. In addition, NAXA’s main activities have so far been contract development and research and development centered on technological capabilities, but with the growth of existing projects and AI-related products, we will not only provide technical support for individual projects, but also expand our business operations. We need to establish a management structure that is committed to growth as a company, and we have been discussing this issue for some time.
Urabe has been working as the representative director of NAXA so far, but he has decided to resign in order to work even more towards the development of the startup industry as a whole. Although the representative director will resign, he plans to continue working toward “transformation” in the broadcasting industry.
In addition, Mr. Nakamura, who will be newly appointed as
Representative Director, has the experience and trust gained from working with many customers, and a strong desire to unleash the Japanese entertainment industry. By growing NAXA into a larger organization, we will contribute to the development of the entire industry and promote further innovation.
