Milan, September 20, 2024 – Yesterday, FURLA and GAM –
The Milan Museum of Modern Art is pleased to present KELLY AKASHI CONVERGING FIGURES, a solo exhibition by KELLY AKASHI, curated by Bruna Roccasalva.
The opening was celebrated with a special dinner co-hosted by Olivier Zahm of Purple magazine.
“FURLA
Mr. Akashi’s project for the “SERIES” program is a specialized exhibition, the first of its kind in an Italian museum, which focuses on the concept and phenomenon of “reflection,” through a fantastical path that runs through the permanent collection. It creates a dialogue and synergy with the museum’s architecture and masterpieces.
Olivier Zahm and FURLA will host leading figures from the
international art and fashion world in an impressive setting in a room at the Milan Museum of Modern Art, after a guided viewing by curator Bruna Roccasalva. We enjoyed an intimate dinner.
Guests include curator Gaia Mathis, models Maya Stepper and Nikki Ming, From Japan, Maggie, Nagomi, basketball player and model Elizabeth Cambage, etc. I was invited.
