Breitling’s iconic timepiece, the Navitimer collection, has released a Japan-limited model to commemorate the company’s 140th anniversary. This dial, created by the encounter of the popular ice blue and mother of pearl, is matched with a small case with a diameter of 41 mm. Of course, it is equipped with a manufactured movement, Breitling Caliber 01. The delicate movement can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back.

In 1952, Willy Breitling developed a wrist-worn chronograph with a rotating slide rule that allowed pilots to perform flight
calculations. Two years later, the design was adopted as the official timepiece design of the International Owner-Pilot Association (AOPA). For more than 70 years, the Navitimer has been loved by pilots as well as fashion and style leaders. This watch, adorned on the wrists of astronauts and stars of the era, is Breitling’s most iconic watch. The Navitimer has been reborn to commemorate its 70th anniversary. While inheriting the iconic design that makes Navitimer instantly recognizable even from a distance, the new collection adds modern sophistication. The original AOPA (International Owner-Pilot Association) wing logo has returned to its former 12 o’clock position, and the flattened rotating slide rule and domed crystal give it a slimmer appearance.

This Japan-limited model, which appeared on the occasion of the company’s 140th anniversary, was created by combining the popular ice blue and mother-of-pearl. The mother-of-pearl dial is a detail that has always been very popular in Japan due to its unique beauty. When combined with the pale ice blue color, it creates a refreshing sparkle that resembles a sea of clouds or a sparkling snow field seen through an airplane window, and cleanses the soul of the viewer. Coupled with the small 41mm diameter case, it creates an even more modest and elegant impression. Available with a stainless steel bracelet or a blue alligator strap. This timepiece is equipped with Manufacture Caliber 01, a COSC-certified chronometer, the highest certified standard for precision and reliability.
