| “Hypnosis Mic” is a “music original character rap project” that started in September 2017. The story depicts a rap battle between MC teams based in each division, vying for each other's territory, and includes fan-participation rap battles where the outcome of the battle will determine the future story development. Authentic rap music, in which the rappers and track makers who lead Japan's hip-hop scene participate as creators, has become a hot topic. It has been adapted into a variety of media, including a stage play and an animation, and has gained immense popularity among young people. |
| And this year, which marks the 7th anniversary, it has been decided that the first fan meeting “Hypnosis Mic Division Fan Meeting” will be held. In this event, a total of 7 performances will be held by division from the 6 divisions of Ikebukuro/Yokohama/Shibuya/Shinjuku/Osaka/Nagoya to Nakao Ward's “Kontoha Party”, and the voice actor cast of each division will appear and give a special talk. In addition, we will also hold a mini-live that includes new songs included in the divisional CD that has been released for 7 consecutive months. |
