Our mission is to disseminate information based on scientific evidence so that cancer patients can receive treatment based on their own wishes. Became an NPO in 2001. We opened a dedicated secretariat in January 2007, and currently operate across the country from our bases in Tokyo and Osaka. In August 2016, we became a certified NPO corporation. The main activities are educational seminars on various types of cancer, the production of the “Know More Series'' booklets that are placed at cancer treatment partner hospitals nationwide, and the implementation of educational projects such as training courses and certification exams. In addition, the Japan Cancer Forum, which has been held annually since 2014 to disseminate the latest medical information on all cancers, including rare cancers, is one of the largest cancer awareness events targeting not only cancer patients and their families, but also the general public. It has become an event. Through these activities, we aim to create a society where cancer patients can face cancer in their own way. |
