(Iwataya), which was located in the old Fukuoka Building and was a driving force behind the housing culture in Fukuoka and Kyushu. (Established in 1966, disbanded in 1999). It was an exciting, dream-like company where I enjoyed coming to work every day. The character used on the NIC package was a zebra. The design features many creatures, including a zebra. We hope you enjoy searching for it inside the museum. The title of the work, “Mi volas paroli”, means “I want to talk” or “I want to talk” in Esperanto. Originally, I wanted to give the title in the language of animals or plants, but unfortunately, as a human, I can’t do that, so I created an artificial title with the hope of connecting people with different native languages. I thought that the best language would be Esperanto. I hope that this space will be a place where people can meet and have real conversations and understand each other without being bound by national borders, gender, or religion. Born in Fukuoka. Influenced by his grandfather, who was a sculptor, he majored in ceramics at Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts. After graduating, he worked at the interior shop “NIC” in the Fukuoka Building, and then became independent as a potter. Currently working in a atelier in Fukuoka City, he produces a wide variety of works including ceramics, fabrics, and prints. He has held solo exhibitions not only in Japan but also overseas such as L.A., London, and Taipei, and has gained popularity.

This work creatively captures the beautiful moment when a plum blossom blooms from a bud, using the motif of plum blossoms, which have a deep connection with Fukuoka Tenjin. By expressing the delicate and soft petals using contrasting stainless steel, we have created an impressive finish that will become a symbol of the One Building. The petals are all angled at different angles to capture and reflect light from various directions. During the day, the green wall’s appearance changes depending on the season and time of day, reflecting the light from the petals illuminated by natural light, allowing you to feel the passage of time. At night, soft light leaks from the petals, creating beautiful shadows on the green wall. For the plants on the green wall, we use the durable “Oitabi”, which is not easily affected by the natural environment. We aimed to create a work that would express the more than 100-year history of Nishi-Nippon Railway Co., Ltd., which is deeply rooted in this area, and the future of Tenjin, while also making the building a new landmark for Fukuoka.

A flower artist who came to Japan alone from Denmark at the age of 19 and blossomed her talent. With a unique style that combines
Scandinavian tastes and Japanese sensibilities, the “Flower Box” that she invented has become popular as a standard flower gift. Currently, he is expanding his activities into the fashion and design worlds, and is currently expanding his business to Seoul and Denmark based in Japan. In 2021, he will open Nikolai Bergman Hakone Gardens in Gora, Hakone, expanding his field of activity beyond the boundaries of flower design. Mr. Leandro Erlich “Pixel Tree” / Southwest plaza

This work is a completely new type of work, with no previous work that could be called a prototype, and I am developing an idea for this location based on an idea that I have had for a long time. For me, it is a dream come true to see something that was just an idea take shape into reality. I myself am very much looking forward to its completion. There are various themes behind this work. It’s about our relationship with nature, our relationship with technology, and innovation. I am very excited to start this new beginning and adventure with you all.

He has published numerous works that explore how humans perceive phenomena, interact with space, and grasp reality. Many of his works are three-dimensional structures such as parts of buildings, and they use optical illusions and are experiential in that the act of viewing them becomes part of the work itself. ■Attractive works can also be found inside the hotel Mr. Noritaka Tatehana Approximately 80 new works will be on display at ONE FUKUOKA HOTEL, ranging from works using traditional craft techniques to contemporary paintings.

I advocate the word “Rethink” as a concept for my creative activities as a writer. This means “reviewing the past of Japanese culture and creating a new culture for the future.” In this project as well, the “Fuku Building” that was loved in this area will be reborn as a “one building”, but we believe that the local character and culture that was nurtured there should be passed on to the next generation. The works I worked on this time are approximately 80 new works, mainly a series of paintings with the motif of “lightning.” It was a great honor for me to be able to bring together and present a wide variety of works, from those that utilize traditional craft techniques to contemporary paintings. Born in Tokyo in 1985, graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts in 2010, majoring in dyeing and weaving. In 2016, he has developed a wide range of activities, including holding a bunraku performance at the Fondation Cartier Contemporary Art in Paris. His masterpieces, such as “Heelless Shoes,” which were inspired by the high clogs worn by prostitutes, are housed in collections such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Furthermore, the number of applications for building confirmation in the Tenjin Big Bang area (approximately 500m radius from Tenjin intersection) is 63.
