Torvizuon press release (2024.09.26) Torbizuon Truvizuon and Kyushu RUSEA Promotion Committee conduct “wide-area collaborative disaster prevention training” using drones RUSEA chapters from six prefectures in Kyushu gather to prepare for Nankai Trough earthquake and conduct practical activities develop a program Truvizuon Co., Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, CEO: Mamoru Masumoto, hereafter referred to as “Truvizon”) jointly conducted a disaster drone training exercise with the Kyushu RUSEA Promotion Committee (Representative: Keigo Yoshida). This training brought together 18 people from RUSEA branches across Kyushu (Fukuoka, Oita, Saga, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima) to learn how to utilize drones in disaster response. The event was held in Taku City, Saga Prefecture, which aims to create a city in the sky. Background Conducting training for utilizing drones in times of disaster Sponsored by the Kyushu RUSEA (Regional Revitalization and Disaster Prevention Drone Utilization Promotion Association) Promotion Committee and with the cooperation of each branch, a disaster delivery experience using DJI FlyCart30 will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024. A variety of practical training sessions were held. The training included a curriculum aimed at improving disaster transport methods using drones, detecting victims by detecting temperature using infrared cameras, making emergency announcements from the sky using speaker drones, and improving photographic techniques at disaster sites. A “disaster investigation” simulation was also conducted in which pilots and assistants formed a team and flew together. Image

Using an infrared camera : Utilizing the temperature sensing function, we simulated the discovery of people in distress and disaster victims. Confirmed the effectiveness of the discovery method that utilizes temperature differences. 3. Drone speaker demo : Demonstration of making emergency announcements from the air from remote areas and
demonstrating effective information transmission methods at disaster sites.

Practicing disaster photography techniques : Planning training on photography techniques at disaster sites (search, investigation of fires, ground collapse, etc.). We conducted practical simulation training that included camera settings, how to adjust resolution, and cooperation between pilots and assistants.

In particular, as the term “regional revitalization” indicates, the decline in the vitality of towns in rural areas is an urgent issue in Japan. We will overcome this current situation and once again restore the city to its full of vitality. To do this, it is important to know and communicate the nature of the area, the charm of the people who live there, and the history that has been woven into it. Above all, we believe it is important to seriously consider the importance of connections between people. In order to give shape to regional revitalization, we will combine local tourism resources with the promising tool of drones to create new innovations. Currently, people involved in this planned project are connecting with each other, and a new type of regional network is beginning to emerge across Japan. With the aim of making further effective use of this regional network that has been built across the country in the event of a disaster, we will conduct human resource development and safety courses for the younger generation who can effectively utilize drones in the future. In addition, we will provide guidance on disaster response, including operational systems and methods during disasters. We will aim to maintain and build. Torvizuon’s drone business Trubizuon is a company that sells industrial drones such as DJI FlyCart30. We also operate a drone school where you can obtain a national license, and develop and operate the drone air route maintenance service “S:ROAD”. “S:ROAD” visualizes the airspace where drones fly on regular routes and promotes the social implementation of the drone industry.
