Against the backdrop of these social trends, the Jaquejo Research Institute investigated the causes of stress and concerns regarding business fashion among female managers. The purpose of this research is to find ways to support modern women to make them feel more comfortable and comfortable. ■Overview of “Business Fashion Awareness Survey” Survey period: July 2024 Research agency: Research contractor Knows Co., Ltd. Among the specific concerns, “maintenance to maintain cleanliness,” “choosing clothes that make a good impression,” and “balance with TPO” were the top concerns (Graph 2). It has become clear that an increasing number of women are concerned about business fashion as they become more concerned about the impression they make on others as they take up positions.

Looking at the survey on “the positive effects of wearing jackets in business settings” by job title, 29.2% of managers said “I was able to create a formal atmosphere,” and 29.2% said “I was able to show a serious attitude.” 23.5% and 17.7% said they “gain a sense of trust from those around them,” and 17.7% felt that wearing a jacket conveys “seriousness and sincerity.” They feel that jackets are an item that gives a good impression in business settings.
