(Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Yuji Otsuka) will collaborate with Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Panasonic Finance Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Keiichi Hamano, hereinafter referred to as SMTPFC) , made a donation related to the “SDGs “Thank You” Project” (hereinafter referred to as the “Project”) to the Japan Federation of UNESCO Associations (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Miki Sato; hereinafter referred to as the Japan Federation of UNESCO Associations). This project is based on leases provided by SMTPFC, and if the use of the proceeds can contribute to achieving the SDGs, we will donate a portion of the contract amount, subject to the customer’s consent, to support activities aimed at resolving social issues. This is an effort to connect. Our company supports this project and has been working with SMTPFC since January 2023 to jointly donate the LED lighting for corporations that we sell (hereinafter referred to as this initiative). As of March 2024, 115 customers have agreed to this. As the first donation related to this initiative, we donated an amount (329,881 yen) equivalent to 0.1% of the contract amount for the above target period to the Japan Federation of UNESCO Associations. This donation will be used for the overall activities of the Japan Federation of UNESCO Associations. In addition, along with the donation, we received a letter of appreciation from the Japan Federation of UNESCO Associations in recognition of our efforts related to this project.

Otsuka Shokai has set the goal of contributing to the global environment, actively promotes environmental conservation activities, and is sincerely working to realize a sustainable society.
