Hope Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, President and CEO: Takayasu Tokitsu, Stock Code: 6195, hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), which provides services specialized for local governments, announced on Friday, October 4, 2024. We will be holding a community event for engineers. This is the second time this event has been held, providing a place for engineers in Fukuoka Prefecture to deepen interaction and share knowledge and experience. ■Background/Purpose The purpose of this event is for engineers to freely exchange opinions and share their knowledge and experience. Our group’s first engineer joined the company in April 2024, and we currently only have one person. We launched this community event because we wanted to create an environment where engineers can talk to each other, as opportunities for interaction between engineers are limited. The first event was held on August 7, 2024, and five engineers gathered. On the day of the event, we mainly focused on freelance engineers who usually work alone at home, and we talked about “Educating engineers,” “Communication between engineers and non-engineers,” “When to incorporate new technology,” and “Defining your field.” A lively discussion was held in a relaxed atmosphere about topics such as past failures. At the second event held in October, participants will be able to deepen their
interactions with each other while enjoying discussions on fictional services and board games aimed at engineers.
