Yamayasu Co., Ltd., a long-established Odawara dried fish store, will hold its annual autumn event “Yamayasu Sanma Festival” three times this year at its three stores: “Yamayasu Turnpike”, “Yokohama Nanbu Market”, and “Kohoku”. I will! The Yamayasu Turnpike store won the Good Design Award and looks like an art museum. The store is known as the “Thong Museum.” We provide products that will please local people and customers visiting Izu and Hakone, and as a specialty store for dried fish, we offer a rich selection of products to provide a fulfilling shopping experience. Although the situation has continued to be difficult in recent years due to the soaring prices of saury, this year’s event has been decided to be held on Saturday, September 28th! The first installment of the annual autumn event “Yamayasu Sanma Festival” will be held at the “Yamayasu Turnpike Store”, where 2,000 fresh saury from Hokkaido will be served. Subsequently, on October 12th (Saturday), the second batch of 2,000 fish was held at the “Yamayasu Yokohama Nanbu Market Store”, and on October 26th
(Saturday), the third batch of 2,000 fish was distributed at the “Yamayasu Kohoku Store”. This is a popular charity event in which a total of 6,000 charcoal-grilled sauries are distributed to those who donate. Official website: http://www.himono.org/
