On the other hand, the year-on-year comparison was -0.3%, falling below the same month last year for seven consecutive months. Looking at the year-on-year comparison by area, lower Tokyo has exceeded the same month of the previous year for the first time in eight months, while Saitama City has been below the same month of the previous year for 11 consecutive months. Furthermore, Tokyo’s 23 wards had the highest amount since January 2017, the first time in 16 months since April 2023. The increase in high-priced properties is particularly noticeable, with the proportion of properties costing over 100 million yen at 9.5%.
