(Headquarters: Ota-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yasushi Tsurumori), a real estate information service company, has an overview of the price trends of used condominiums registered and published for consumers on its real estate information network. At Home has outsourced the investigation and analysis to Yoshitaka Otake (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director), and is publishing this information. ●The average price per used condominium in the Tokyo metropolitan area is 39.15 million yen, an increase of 1.1% from the previous month for the first time in two months. The increase compared to the same month last year was 1.0%, the first increase in 10 months. ●Saitama prefecture and other prefectures have declined month-on-month for eight consecutive months. ●Tokyo’s 23 wards increased by 2.1% from the previous month, the first increase in two months, and the highest amount since January 2017. ◆Target area Tokyo (23 wards/lower Tokyo), Kanagawa prefecture (Yokohama city, Kawasaki city/others), Saitama prefecture (Saitama city/others), Chiba prefecture (western part*/others) *Western Chiba Prefecture: Kashiwa City, Matsudo City, Nagareyama City, Abiko City, Ichikawa City, Urayasu City, Narashino City, Funabashi City ◆Target data Used condominiums registered and published for consumers on the real estate information site At Home (duplicate properties are made unique) ◆Definition ・In this survey, the “registered price per unit (desired selling price)” of the above target data is referred to as “price.” ・The comments indicate that spaces under 30 square meters are “suitable for singles,” spaces between 30 square meters and 50 square meters are “suitable for couples,” spaces between 50 square meters and 70 square meters are “suitable for families,” and spaces over 70 square meters are “suitable for large families.”

This is the first time in 10 months that the average price in the entire metropolitan area has exceeded the same month last year. Prices in Tokyo’s 23 wards increased by 2.1% month-on-month, driving the rise in the metropolitan area, but prices in Saitama and other prefectures fell for eight consecutive months, showing differences in price trends depending on the area.
Furthermore, Tokyo’s 23 wards, which had stopped increasing
month-on-month for the first time in 14 months, rose again and hit a new high since January 2017.
