We will hold a seminar “Thinking about smart factories and logistics using local 5G & automatic transportation systems”.  In recent years, against the backdrop of diversifying customer needs due to the transition to an information society, it has become mainstream to produce a wide variety of products in the required quantities, resulting in frequent changes in production processes. There is an increasing demand for factory workers to be multi-skilled. However, there is a shortage of these multi-skilled workers, and furthermore, as exemplified by the 2024 problem, there is a wave of labor-saving and labor-saving measures in transportation operations in factories. With digitalization, every time a process change occurs, it is necessary to change the wiring of network equipment and the large amount of cables that connect them, install or remove piping, and modify the route of automatic transport equipment. In January 2024, we will open a showroom and development verification facility “Local 5G Smart Factory & Logistics Lab” in Chofu City, Tokyo, with the aim of realizing smart factories and logistics sites for our customers.
