Yukinori Sawabe is a pianist who appears in the popular JAZZ manga “BLUE GIANT”. Although he is not the main character, he is one of the characters that will always remain in my memory. Hobonichi Co., Ltd.’s Hobonichi Co., Ltd. operates Hobonichi Sunday on the 8th floor of Shibuya PARCO, which puts the spotlight on Yukiyuki and presents scenes selected from the many scenes in which he appears that are “must be missed when talking about BLUE GIANT.” The exhibition will focus on over 20 reproductions of . This is a work about the main character, Dai Miyamoto, who is fascinated by jazz and starts playing the tenor saxophone, aiming to become the world’s best jazz player. However, the main character of this “BLUE GIANT exhibition” is not “large”. This exhibition features Dai’s first band member and friend, Yukinori Sawabe. Yukiyuki, who started playing the piano at the age of four, had many musical talents, including perfect pitch. However, he is also a person who has the “talent for hard work” and practices day in and day out without being complacent with his talent. Yukiyoshi often has a cool demeanor to those around him, but he has a passion for jazz and a desire to improve on the piano more than anyone else. Even in the story, the center of his life is the piano. From his story, we will be exhibiting reproductions of scenes from his journey that are “indispensable when talking about BLUE GIANT and Yukiyoshi Sawabe!” Please take a look back at the original story and watch the passionate growth of Yukiyoshi Sawabe.
