International Horticultural Expo (GREEN x EXPO 2027) to be held in Yokohama. At Toho Leo, we define green technology as consisting of three elements: “technology,” “design,” and “development.”We believe that green technology is not just about plants and greenery, but also about customers’ lifestyles, work styles, urban development, and environmental attitudes. Through a wide range of initiatives such as these, we have received high praise for our efforts to contribute to improving the living environment. The 2027 International Horticultural Expo, for which I have been selected as a Village exhibitor, is an expo that will be held for the purpose of promoting international horticulture and landscaping, living a life full of flowers and greenery, and creating regional and economic growth. In 2027, the highest level (A1 class) International Horticultural Exhibition will be held in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture (Kamiseya). This is the second time in 37 years that an A1 class international horticultural exposition will be held in Japan, the first being the Osaka Flower Expo in 1990. Village is a co-creation project in which diverse participants, including citizens and companies, share concepts and create “tomorrow’s landscapes that create happiness.” Based on five concepts, we aim to create “tomorrow’s landscapes that create happiness.” I aim for it.
