(Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Representative Director: Masato Nishikawa) has opened the “Anyone Bookstore” on the 8th floor of Shibuya Hikarie, targeting members who work on planning and product development within the company, with the theme of promoting communication between parents and children. We have decided to support the opening of a bookshelf at Shibuya Bookstore, a shared bookstore based on the concept of “You can be.” A bookshelf based on the concept of “first filial piety” created by our members will be installed from October 1, 2024 (Tuesday) to March 31, 2025 (Monday).

Since its founding in 1958, Sanwa Bussan, a manufacturer of funeral supplies, has continued to face various separations. Under these circumstances, we often hear from customers that they wish they had talked to their parents more before they died. Based on this experience, in order to promote communication between parents and children, together with our members we have been planning and selling “Spinning Notes”, an exchange notebook for adult parents and children. As part of these efforts, Sanwa Bussan will support members who aim to open a bookshelf at Shibuya 〇〇 Bookstore, a shared bookstore on the 8th floor of Shibuya Hikarie with the concept that “anyone can become a bookstore.” We have decided. The theme of the bookshelf that supports installation is “The First Filial Piety.” Through this bookshelf, we will propose and sell various books that will give you hints on how to be filial to your parents, for people who feel that they want to be filial to their parents but don’t know what to do.
