In 2000, he transferred to NTT Docomo, and after serving as president of DOCOMO Innovations and DOCOMO Capital in the US, served as executive officer of NTT Docomo in 2014 and president of Mirai Translation. He served as president of NTT Docomo Ventures until 2016, and from the same year was in charge of research in the area of ​​artificial intelligence for the Japan Science and Technology Agency’s Strategic Creative Research Promotion Project.
