Held a workshop for students using low-code tools The Kobe Gakuen Educational Corporation Group (hereinafter referred to as “Kobe Gakuen”), with the full cooperation of Canon IT Solutions Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Canon ITS”), has launched the low-code development platform “WebPerformer-NX” as part of Kobe Gakuen’s DX human resources development project. We will hold a special class that makes practical use of. Kobe Gakuen has positioned the essence of DX as “counting backwards” in the “DX Business Department” that opened in April 2021, and students can lead projects with a clear vision and serve as a bridge between engineers and managers. We are developing DX human resources. Since our opening in 1965, we have made vocational education our mission, and as a vocational school that has always provided practical education with an eye on society’s needs, we have worked closely with our customers’ goals and contributed to solving various social issues through the power of IT. With Canon ITS as the instructor, we will run a program where you can experience solving corporate problems by creating applications. In this program, which will be held for half a year from October 2024, in the first half you will experience the process of designing, developing, and testing a general system, and in the second half, you will learn how to design, develop, and test a general system. We will actually build it using the platform “WebPerformer-NX”. We believe that we can further enhance the DX curriculum by implementing this workshop in which working professionals teach the know-how of low-code development tools, which require a good balance of both technical ability and problem-solving thinking. Kobe Gakuen will continue to work on developing DX human resources who can “count backwards” and can lead the way in solving social issues using IT technology as an immediate force, through practical classes in collaboration with companies such as Canon ITS.
