Commemorative events are being held this year in both Berlin and Tokyo. A panel exhibition commemorating the exchange will be held at the German Festival as well. We hope you will learn about the history and charm of the exchange between our two cities. ●200th anniversary of Beethoven’s Ninth premiere 2024 marks the 200th anniversary of the premiere of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. On Sunday, November 3rd, Haruhiko Mimata (N Symphony Orchestra) and the German Festival String Orchestra will perform a special version of the fourth movement of “The Ninth” with chorus.
