Hino City Hall Press release: October 4, 2024 15th Fujizo/Katsugoro Reincarnation Anniversary Event Symposium “Activities and research results of Katsugoro Research Team” The Katsugoro Research Team and the Hino City Local History Museum will be co-sponsoring the Fujizo and Katsugoro Reincarnation Anniversary Event Symposium, “Activities and Research Results of the Katsugoro Research Team.” The Katsugoro Reincarnation Story Investigation Team is a citizen learning group that has been based at the Hino City Local History Museum since 2006. We investigate and research the
reincarnation incidents that took place in Hodokubo, Hino City and Higashi-Nakano, Hachioji City in the latter half of the Edo period from the standpoint of local history, and conduct promotional activities. October 10th is the birthday of the reborn Katsugoro. We have held lectures and other events on this day as the “Rebirth Anniversary.” This year, marking the 15th time, we will summarize and report on the research team’s progress and research results. We will welcome Ryutaro Minakami, a writer with deep knowledge of paranormal phenomena, who will comment on his evaluation of his activities and future prospects. A three-dimensional picture-story video (8 minutes) was shown that explained the content of the reincarnation tradition, and several members of the research team gave presentations on the specific details of their activities and newly discovered materials and results.Finally, the research team’s representative, Mr. Hidekazu Imai ( (Associate Professor, Faculty of Arts, Kyoritsu Women’s University) and author Ryutaro Minakami will have a conversation about the significance of the research team’s activities to explore rare reincarnations and the future.
