VOLCOM will release a collaboration collection with Toronto-born painter and visual artist Zephyr Christakos-Gee as part of its Earth Tripper collection. The Earth Tripper collection is a versatile apparel line that combines high-performance materials suitable for outdoor activities such as camping and trail running with designs that are easy to use on a daily basis.

From an early age, drawing became a means of escapism for him and he was fascinated by the graffiti he saw in urban environments. His interest in graffiti eventually developed into his own practice, leading to several years of immersion in writing. This experience greatly influenced his artistic style and is reflected in his current work. During the pandemic, Zephyr impulsively moved to Montreal and started living in an industrial loft with a friend. This change in environment led to a new development in his artistic approach, and he took up airbrushing, creating a new way of expressing his own symbols, characters, and patterns on vintage clothing and objects.
