formulating strategies and disseminating the vision among employees. ■ Overview and evolution of “VISITS forms” “VISITS forms” is a corporate transformation tool that collects employee voices and visualizes strategies and visions that generate empathy using unique AI technology (Japanese and US patents). By introducing “Azure OpenAI Service,” we were able to automatically summarize and classify each response on the analysis results screen, allowing participants to check and discuss results more efficiently. It also has a function that automatically generates answers based on personas generated by AI, allowing small groups to come up with ideas and eliminate bias. ■Background and expected impact Large Japanese companies are faced with the problem of slow decision-making as it takes time to collect opinions and make internal adjustments. In order to solve these issues, “VISITS forms” uses proprietary AI technology to sort all kinds of information and visualize important opinions, dramatically improving the speed of decision-making *1). We believe that this will enable both management and the field to make decisions based on highly reliable data, which will lead to improved international
competitiveness of Japanese companies. *1) In a case study of a major manufacturer, decision-making speed in strategy planning and business selection was increased by 6 times ■ Use at Microsoft Japan Within Microsoft Japan, “VISITS forms” has been used for the purpose of disseminating the vision among employees and formulating strategies. In June 2024, a workshop using “VISITS forms” was held at the Enterprise Services Business Headquarters with the aim of having members make the department’s charter (≒ purpose and vision) their own. Through efficient discussions and smooth confirmation of results using AI, a fruitful discussion was held in a short two-hour period, and all participants were able to draw up a vision that would lead to concrete actions.

participants were able to gain a sense of ownership and imagine concrete actions. ■About Azure OpenAI Service This is a service for businesses that combines OpenAI technology with Microsoft Azure (hereinafter referred to as Azure) cloud services. Multiple generative AI models such as natural language processing and text generation can be used on the Azure cloud platform.
