Hankyu Corporation will begin a service that allows passengers to board with touch payments using credit cards, etc., at all 87 stations from October 29th (Tuesday).

This service utilizes the public transportation solution “stera transit” and allows customers to use their touch payment compatible cards (credit, debit, prepaid) or smartphones with cards installed. You can pass through the ticket gate by touching the dedicated reader (display part) of the ticket gate. We will continue to provide more convenient and comfortable railway services to a wide range of customers, including those using our trains for commuting to work, school, shopping, etc., as well as foreign tourists visiting Japan. 1. How to ride By touching your touch payment compatible card (credit, debit, prepaid) or smartphone with a card set up on the dedicated reader, you can pass through the ticket gate and board the train. *Only adult regular fares are supported (child fares and discount services are not available). *The fare according to the travel section will be deducted from the card payment. *The withdrawal date differs depending on the card you subscribe to.
