(as of June 2024). There is no coach, and experienced students practice independently. We decide on our own practice content and provide guidance to each other. On-ice practice is held twice a week at the reserved Okayama International Skating Rink. The charter fee is about 40,000 yen per session, so the club fee per person is about 20,000 yen per month, which is a very high burden for us as university students. This time, in order to continue practicing, we have launched a crowdfunding campaign. Thank you for your cooperation. I want to be in perfect condition to participate in the Japan Student Women’s Ice Hockey Tournament, which will be held from fall to winter this year! So far, they have won consecutive championships in the Japan Women’s Ice Hockey Tournament in Chugoku and Shikoku, and have also achieved good results in the national tournament. Since 2021, we have been aiming to be in the top three, but unfortunately we were not able to reach the top three. In 2023, we are one step closer to tying the score with the opposing team in the third-place deciding match and sending it to a penalty shootout. This year “Best 3″ I want to achieve this goal! However, there are financial challenges. In addition to the cost of renting a rink, there are many expenses for each participant, such as protective gear, expedition costs, and competition participation fees. Also, there have been some games where I have had to miss opportunities because I couldn’t afford to participate in practice games. More than half of the members have moved away from their parents, and most of them work part-time to pay club fees in addition to living expenses. Many members also hold part-time jobs. Part-time jobs require a lot of time, which can interfere with schoolwork and club activities. In fact, many members have left the club for financial reasons. In order to continue practicing as usual and participate in the tournament with all current members, we need to overcome financial challenges. However, for us university students, the situation is difficult. I would like to use the funds I received to create an environment where I can practice to my fullest. We will acquire the skills and achieve this year’s team goals of “3rd place in the intercollegiate school” and “become a team that is loved by those around us!” [Results at the Japan Student Women’s Ice Hockey Tournament] 2017 3rd place 2018 runner-up 2019 runner-up (Canceled in 2020 due to Corona) 2021 4th place 2022 4th place
2023 4th place

It is passed down from generation to generation from graduating seniors to juniors, so it has a long history This is the initial cost for one new member in 2022. There is a limited amount of protective equipment that can be handed down from graduating students, and most of it is paid for by the new students themselves. In addition, the cost of protective equipment is rising year by year, and the burden is expected to be larger this year than in this example ・Target amount: 2 million yen ・Usage of target amount and implementation details: It will be used for participation fees for the 12th Japan Student Women’s Ice Hockey Tournament, etc. *In this project, even if the total amount of support does not reach the target amount by the deadline, the members will pay the target amount themselves and will definitely participate in the national competition. The 2 million yen we are recruiting for this time is calculated based on the participation fee for the national tournament held in Okinawa last year.
[Breakdown of last year’s national tournament participation fee] ・Hotel accommodation fee 680,800 yen ・Aircraft 888,000 yen ・Okinawa bus fare 78,000 yen ・Okayama-Kobe Airport bus fare 104,500 yen ・Highway fee 19,280 yen ・Convention participation fee 200,000 yen Total 1,970,580 yen As this year’s national competition will be held in Fukuoka, the actual participation fee may be less than 2 million yen. In that case, or after the project is established, if the tournament cannot be held due to unavoidable circumstances such as natural disasters (including the impact of the coronavirus such as the declaration of a state of emergency), the fee for chartering the Okayama International Skating Rink where we practice daily (39,000 yen) will be charged. / times), expedition expenses for other tournaments, and protective equipment costs for club members.
