The Nagasaki Museum of History and Culture is a public museum whose purpose is to explain the results of research on the history and culture of early modern Nagasaki in an easy-to-understand manner to residents of the prefecture and citizens, to promote understanding of the local history and culture, and to contribute to the development of Nagasaki studies.
