This year’s theme is “Let’s provide customer service that is close to the heart of each customer.” The 10 people who made it through the West Japan and East Japan qualifying rounds held in September participated in the final round, and the national competition was held at Asahi Seimei Hall in Osaka. Contest details Participants had six minutes to understand customers’ needs and wants, communicate with each other, and make coordination proposals. The judging was conducted by people who are active at the forefront of the fashion industry, including Mr. Fujiura, president of Senken Shimbun’s Osaka branch, and Mr. Shioda, manager of Lumine Co., Ltd.’s business promotion department.
