“treasures,” where rare items from around the world are still preserved in good condition after about 1,300 years. The “Enjoy” exhibition will be launched on the occasion of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, under the full supervision of the Imperial Household Agency’s Shosoin Office. Featuring the latest digitally controlled images, music, and lighting, as well as a number of “reproductions” researched and produced by the Imperial Household Agency’s Shosoin Office (a group of works in which modern master craftsmen have elaborately recreated the original appearance of treasures). Through this collaboration, we offer a new way to experience and enjoy the world of Shosoin. We will also be introducing new works created by artists from various fields who are active today, with the theme of Shosoin’s beauty and history. Inside the venue, you can take photos and post them on SNS, not just at the photo spots. It is an exhibition event filled with the splendor of a show, allowing you to immerse yourself in the world of Shosoin through words, music, and spatial direction by a team of up-and-coming creators.

The exhibition uses 3D digital data to more realistically introduce the details and textures of the treasures, allowing visitors to experience the world of Shosoin treasures more deeply than ever before.
