Actually, this marche is an event that I have a lot of feelings for, and I’ve been thinking about it for about 4 years now. This time, we will introduce a shared kitchen in Kiyosumi Shirakawa “conato | powder” The event was held in collaboration with stores in the shopping district and surrounding areas. Usually, in shared kitchens, small businesses called micropatisseries and microbakeries produce and sell baked goods and breads on a daily basis. How can we convey the appeal of the baked goods and breads they make to as many people as possible? By actually meeting the makers directly, rather than just using social media or online shops, we want people to encounter unique and carefully crafted products that are different from the sweets and breads sold at supermarkets and department stores. With that in mind, this marche was realized. A town of baked goods and bread The area around Morishita and Kiyosumi-Shirakawa in Koto-ku, Tokyo is dotted with many Western confectionery shops, bakeries, and cafes, and on weekends it continues to transform into a fun area where you can enjoy tasting and comparing the shops. In collaboration with stores in the surrounding area, we aim to use this marche as an opportunity to not only connect people who love baked goods and bread with their makers, but also to become a marche that connects the city and people.
