We would like to express our deepest sympathies to everyone who was affected by the heavy rain disaster in the Noto Peninsula in September 2020. Autobacs Seven Co., Ltd. (Representative Director and President: Yugo Horii) is a general incorporated association that lends cars free of charge to those who lost their cars in the disaster area in order to support the victims of the Noto Peninsula heavy rain disaster in September 2020. We donated four vehicles to the Japan Car Sharing Association (Representative Director: Takehiko Yoshizawa, hereinafter referred to as “Japan Car Sharing Association”) on Friday, October 25th. This is the point! ■ Donation of 4 vehicles equipped with studless tires that can withstand future snowfall ■ A total of 14 vehicles were donated this year In disaster-stricken areas, cars can be a major source of strength in taking the first step toward rebuilding, so we are providing “disaster support using cars,” such as providing vehicles at the time of a disaster and providing free maintenance and repair of rental vehicles at Autobacs Group stores. We continue to provide support to support lifelines during disasters. The outline of the vehicle donation support for the Noto Peninsula heavy rain disaster in September 2020 is as follows. [Support overview] Support details: Donation of 4 vehicles Equipped with studless tires (for use in snowy areas) Donation recipient: Japan Car Sharing Association Delivery date: Friday, October 25, 2024 In July 2021, we concluded a vehicle support agreement in times of disaster with the Japan Car Sharing Association and are participating in the “Mobility Resilience Alliance*.” In addition, we have been making regular donations to the association since fiscal 2023, in order to support the prompt delivery of vehicles to disaster-stricken areas in the event of a disaster by donating vehicles during normal times. This year, in addition to the 10 vehicles we donated, we added this donation for a total of 14 vehicles. *This is a disaster support network with companies and local governments, with the Japan Car Sharing Association as the secretariat. The purpose of this initiative is to support the restoration of the lives of those affected by disasters by collaborating with companies and organizations
participating in the alliance to quickly deliver vehicles to disaster-stricken areas in the event of a disaster. “Mobility resilience” refers to the ability of cars to recover from
disaster-affected situations. ■About Japan Car Sharing Association The Japan Car Sharing Association is an organization that started its activities in the wake of the Great East Japan Earthquake, using donated cars. It is a non-profit organization that creates a system of mutual support. (Website:
https://www.japan-csa.org/ ) In Japan, where natural disasters occur almost every year, support such as cars is essential. We will continue to work with the Japan Car Sharing Association to support the prompt recovery of disaster-stricken areas, and contribute to society by embodying the idea of “Autobacs when it comes to cars” even in times of disaster.
