Sports/parasports festival flyer Every year, Kasuga City has held “sports experience classes” and “parasports experience events” to promote the spread and understanding of sports and parasports among citizens. This year, the festival will be renamed “Sports and Parasports Festa” with the aim of allowing people to enjoy sports regardless of whether they have a disability or not. In addition, in conjunction with the festival, the following initiatives will be carried out at the venue. Disability-related organizations and welfare organizations will participate and distribute awareness items (*) to visitors at the venue entrance etc. *1,500 confectionery, coffee, and other goods made by Type B employment support businesses in the city will be prepared and distributed by the mayor, staff, and related organizations at two locations within the venue. We have revised the on-the-street awareness campaign during Disabled Persons Week (December 3rd to 9th), which was previously held, and decided to distribute it at this festival. As an effort to realize a cohesive society, a total of 1,500 citizens, regardless of whether they have a disability or not, are participating and we can expect to see them having fun and interacting with each other. Additionally, on the same day, the “Kasuga City Cultural Festival” is being held at the adjacent Fureai Cultural Center.
