A coined word that focused on the functional aspect of “to carry around with you” was used by many people and became established in Japan. The concept of transportation has evolved since the invention of the wheel, and humans now also use air travel. People have flown around the world with their carrying cases and brought back various cultures and memories. This exhibition is a special exhibition that brings together works by Japanese artists based on carrying cases. At Narita Airport, the gateway to Japan, we aim to create opportunities for people visiting Japan to take home art experiences and memories, and for Japanese talent to take off to the world. https://carryart.tokyo ◯What is “DIGITAL LEGAL WALL” In various parts of the world where art is thriving, such as Paris, New York, and Berlin, there are walls called “legal walls” where artists can legally draw their works. “DIGITAL LEGAL WALL” uses digital technology to make it possible to draw art on walls without applying ink. The “DIGITAL LEGAL WALL PROJECT” uses projection to make it possible to express images on walls that are normally not allowed due to regulations, and the works and their processes will also be digitally archived. It not only makes it possible to appreciate works drawn in the past beyond the chronological order, but also contributes to the inheritance of drawing know-how. Collaborative live painting from remote locations is also possible, spanning walls and countries. It is also expected that the sale of digital data will create a new source of income for artists. ◯Participating artists *In alphabetical order ・MPLUSPLUS Established in 2013 as a creative team comprised of creators from a wide range of fields including directors,
