In the future, we will continue to offer Balchure classes mainly in Saitama Prefecture, contributing to the physical and mental growth of children. ■About Balchulet Ballschule is a children’s ball game program developed by Professor Roth of the Institute of Sport Science at Heidelberg University in Germany. As an introduction to sports for children who are not good at sports and are just starting out, this ball exercise class has a background in educational research and allows children to have fun while learning basic motor skills, spontaneity, and social skills. In Germany, 25 of the 36 clubs in the first and second divisions of the Bundesliga are participating in the Balschule program. A similar problem has existed for more than 20 years in Germany, a sports-advanced country. As a solution to this problem, a program was developed through research and development at Germany’s oldest university, Heidelberg University, and is the Balschule. We believe that the problems that are occurring in Japan are not the responsibility of children, but are largely due to changes in the historical background and environment. At Saitama Broncos, in order to be a presence that can bring energy to the children of The SAITAMA, we will continue to create an environment for children to exercise, provide outdoor play, ball play, physical play, and develop exercise habits. We would like to create a worldview where people find exercise and sports to be fun. Balchure is a program that is necessary for young children who want to have fun while learning and mastering the basic movements of sports, such as throwing, hitting, catching, stopping, and kicking, and then transitioning to sports. This program not only develops the body, but also the mind and heart, such as the ability to think and make decisions on one’s own, the ability to greet and follow rules, and the ability to cooperate with friends. It has a prominent history as one of the “Original 6” clubs that participated from the first year when the BJ League, an advanced version of the B League, started.
