In Japan, there is a hit series of folk tales called “Manga Nippon Folk Tales,” but since the lifestyle, customs, and culture of the Middle East and Japan are different, I wondered if Japanese people could create folk tales from the Middle East. Thirteen and a half years have passed since then, and today, as I approach this day, I am truly glad that I had not said no at that time. Producing a work co-produced with a foreign country takes a lot of effort, and I would like to sincerely thank the staff for making it this far.
