Dunhill, the UK’s leading luxury men’s house, will hold the DUNHILL MOTORITIES EXHIBITION, which will display the archives of the iconic collection “Motorities” developed by founder Alfred Dunhill. This exhibition, which will be held at Dunhill Ginza Main Store from October 30th (Wednesday) to November 18th (Monday), will be held in advance of DUNHILL MOTORITIES POP UP, which will be held in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya in November. It’s a thing. To celebrate the opening of this exhibition, we welcomed Kabuki actor Shido Nakamura to Dunhill Ginza Main Store on Wednesday, October 30th. Alfred Dunhill’s history begins in 1893, when he took over his father’s harness manufacturing business. Alfred took advantage of the burgeoning automobile industry and soon founded dunhill’s Motorities. We offer a wide range of motor accessories that offer ‘everything but the motor’, and with our outstanding technology we develop leather and metal accessories, driving outerwear and even cars. These collections continue to serve as inspiration for Dunhill’s products today. At the DUNHILL MOTORITIES EXHIBITION, you can see the “Tweenie” car manufactured by Dunhill over 100 years ago, as well as valuable items that introduce Dunhill’s history in automotive-related products. There will also be a selection of the latest and pre-sale products inspired by Dunhill’s Motorities history. On the day, we will welcome Shido Nakamura, who continues to inherit history and tradition in the world of Kabuki and actors, as a guest, and will talk about Dunhill and Kabuki, who value history and tradition while updating it for modern times. We spoke to them from various angles, including what they have in common. Some of the cars and archives exhibited at the DUNHILL MOTORITIES EXHIBITION can be viewed at the DUNHILL MOTORITIES POP UP, which will be held at major stores nationwide from November. In addition, the RALLY NIPPON 2024 CAPSULE COLLECTION, which was specially produced for the recently held RALLY NIPPON 2024, will be on sale at Dunhill Ginza Main Store and DUNHILL MOTORITIES POP UP.
