(Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Masashi Hodozuka, hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) will provide information on topics surrounding the location to people who are traveling by car etc. in Saitama City. We will begin a demonstration of the service (hereinafter referred to as the “Demonstration”) using a smartphone app (app name: “Bashow”) that provides voice guidance. This demonstration project has been selected as a subsidy project for Saitama City’s FY2020 “Smart City Saitama Model” construction project subsidy.

Image diagram of Bashow app ◆Overview of this demonstration The Bashow app provides audio guidance to people traveling by car about topics around their location. A topic is not information that does not change all year round, such as “There is a restaurant named ○○ there,” but rather information that includes news and event information that changes daily, such as “The menu named ○○ is popular at that restaurant.” Masu. It is realized by our unique system that combines multiple AIs, and will be available in Saitama City from November 1st, ahead of the rest of the world. All you need to do to use the service is to download the Bashow app (iOS only this year) and launch the app when you get in your car (*1). You can enjoy it for free. Each person is guided through the same topic only once, so even if you’re on the same path, you’ll always have something new to discover. We will introduce you to the charm of the area and introduce you to wonderful shops, and we will help you get along with the people you are with. (*1: There is no need to operate your smartphone while driving, just start the app before you start driving.) During the demonstration period, we will conduct a survey regarding the fun and effectiveness of the service. This subsidy will utilize AI, IoT, data, etc. in the Misono district, one of the subcenters of Saitama City, and its surrounding areas, to increase the permanent population, exchange population, or related population, and improve the quality of life. The purpose is to achieve this. The population of the Misono district continues to increase as a subcenter of Saitama City, but there are many households that have recently moved to the area, and many do not know the area well or have weak connections with the area. Our company sees this as an issue. This trend can also be said to apply to Saitama City as a whole, where the population continues to increase. Through this demonstration, we hope to have the effect of helping citizens of Saitama City, including the Misono district, strengthen their attachment to their area and encounter some of the attractions of the area.
