Indonesia House of Beans is a joint project by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Japan, the Central Bank of Indonesia, the Indonesian Ministry of Commerce, and KOPIKALYAN, with the aim of promoting Indonesian coffee beans in Japan. Begin Co., Ltd., hap Co., Ltd., and Indonesia House of Beans are committed to contributing to the sustainable development of coffee production in Indonesia, improving working conditions, and promoting Indonesian coffee through innovative technology and wearable gear developed by Japanese companies. The two companies signed a memorandum of understanding with the aim of increasing the brand value of the company. Begin Co., Ltd. is collaborating with Tokyo apparel company hap Co., Ltd. to develop and provide clothing and uniforms for coffee farming that utilizes advanced Japanese technology to combat environmental risks such as heat and dengue fever. . We create a more comfortable, safe and efficient working environment, making coffee farming easier and more enjoyable. We also aim to make coffee farming more attractive and sustainable by providing young people with modern tools. With many young people leaving rural areas for urban life, this project aims to reinvigorate coffee farming by showing that there is innovation and reward.
